The BEST Printer for Teachers (and SLPs)

So I’ve had my printer for a couple of years now, and it is still going strong. If you have ever seen my resources that I create, you know that I have used it A LOT, and it still runs like a champ. The secret to printing beautiful, high quality, colorful resources without breaking the bank? HP INSTANT INK. Literally, the best EVER printers for teachers (and SLPs)

Never heard of it? Allow me to blow your mind.

What is Instant Ink?

HP Instant Ink is a program that you can sign up for if you have an instant ink compatible printer. THIS is the printer that I have and LOVE, but any printer by HP marked as instant ink compatible will work.

How does it work?

Once you get the printer and set it up it attaches to your wifi network and communicated\s with HP ink headquarters (I assume that’s what its called right? haha) and tells them when you’re running low on ink. I have never ONCE run out of ink with this printer. They always mail it to you well before you need it.

How much does it cost?

Well, first you need to buy a printer. I’m presuming if you’re reading this you might be in the market for a printer? Mine set me back 80 dollars and has lasted me 2.5 years of HEAVY use and is still going strong. I’ll link it again HERE.

Next, depending on how many pages you want to print per month, the subscription varies. Keep in mind, it doesn’t matter if you print color or black and white, it still counts as a page. You could print an ENTIRE page of solid color and it would only count as one page. And since I typically print my black and white at school, I can really optimize my color usage.

Here’s the price breakdown as it stands as I write this (7/30/20)

Want to try a FREE MONTH?

This isn’t sponsored by HP (although wouldn’t that be nice? Hit me up Hewlett Packard). Anyone can get a referral code when they have an active account and share the LOVE!

Have any questions? Shoot me an email or find me on Instagram @ittybittyspeech, I could talk about color printing all day!

Here’s a few Instant Ink compatible printers depending on your budget and needs!
