There are SO MANY resources on Teachers Pay Teachers and other sites, it can be very overwhelming when you’re just starting out or even if you’ve been at this speechie thing for awhile. That’s why. I’ve compiled a list of 3 TPT resources every SLP needs.
These are the resources that I keep closest at hand at all times, I keep them in a rolling cart right next to my chair when I do therapy at my table, and I honestly couldn’t do therapy without these things. Whether you buy them digitally on BOOM Learning, prep them yourself, or buy them pre-made, if you work with the pediatric population I promise you’ll use these three things.
Now, I created resources in all 3 of these categories to be exactly what I need for MY caseload, and if they jive with you that’s awesome, but I also linked some other resources from other sellers that might more closely align with your therapy style.
If you’re more of a visual person, here’s a tour of my cart where I store all of the TPT resources every SLP needs, and would you do me a HUGE favor and subscribe to my YouTube channel to help us reach our goal of 1000 subscribers?
1. Articulation Cards
Although I am partial to mine, I know that everyone’s therapy brains work differently and you might jive with a different format, I just think everyone needs a good COMPLETE set of articulation cards, because you never know when you are going to get a student who has a random medial Q goal (not that that is a thing, just saying) and it is SO nice to be able to just pull out some cards and get practicing because our time is SO valuable!
Here is the articulation program that I created to include everything I needed to implement articulation therapy including full color cards, homework at the word, phrase and sentence level, visual cues, BOOM decks, and MORE!
COMPLETE Articulation Program
Here a few of my favorite articulation decks from some other hard working SLP authors

2. WH Question Cards
Doesn’t every itty bitty have a WH question goal? Or is that just mine? I love having sets of WH questions, broken down by question type, for easy progress monitoring, teaching, and practice. I have all of the ones I listed below and I LOVE having a variety
WH Question Interactive Teaching Books – I use these to teach my students the basics of how you answer a WH question and then practice/drill. These also include a BOOM version.
WH Question Foundations – these include a variety of different tasks to teach WH question types including sorting tasks and play doh mats among others. They also include task cards with visual choices.
